Biohazard Reunited with Original Lineup

New York hardcore act Biohazard are reuniting their original line-up and planning a series of performances in Europe and a return to the studio in 2023.

The reunion marks the 35th anniversary of the Brooklyn-based ensemble, which will see guitarist/vocalist Billy Gradziadei, guitarist Bobby Hambel, drummer Danny Schuler, and bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld reunite for the first time since 2011.

Currently, the band have four European festival dates booked in August 2023, with plans to play dates in America. A documentary is also in the works, as is a return to the studio to record new music.

“Over the years we’ve made great music together and had so many incredible shows on some pretty amazing tours,” Gradziadei said in a press release. “After spending so much time and focus on Powerflo and my solo project BillyBio, things just fell into place at the right time and I decided it was time to reclaim that energy and get back into the game with the original Biohazard cast of Danny to kick ass. Bobby and Evan!”

Evan Seinfeld, who left the group in 2011, commented: “It’s been 10 years since we’ve all played together and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to go back to Biohazard’s roots and not just reconnect with each other guys, but also the fans. We’ve been through decades of insanity and it feels like the amazing four are back together.”

Biohazard last released the comeback album “Reborn in Defiance” in 2012 and has nine real LPs under its belt. Stay tuned to Heavy Consequence for more updates regarding the reunion and the band’s forthcoming album.
