Drake and 21 Savage have released their new collaborative album Her Loss. Stream it below via Apple Music or Spotify.
The duo announced the project with a teaser at the end of the video for “Jimmy Cooks,” the only hip-hop track on Drake’s dance album Honestly, Nevermind. The LP was originally slated for an October 28 release but was delayed a week after Noah “40” Shebib caught COVID in the middle of the finishing touches.
Her Loss is a total of 16 tracks and includes a collaboration with Travis Scott called “Pussy & Millions”.
Leading up to Her Loss, Drake and 21 poked fun at traditional album rollouts by releasing a fake Vogue cover, recreating an NPR tiny desk that never really happened, and sharing clips from an “interview” with Howard Stern.
The Toronto superstar and the Atlanta rapper have been collaborating frequently since 2016, when Drake recruited 21 Savage for his standalone track “Sneakin’.” Drake has since been on Mr. Right Now’ from SAVAGE MODE II and 21 have retaliated by guest-starring on Drake’s Certified Lover Boy edit ‘Knife Talk’ and the aforementioned ‘Jimmy Cooks’.
Her loss comes six months after the Drake surprise fell, honestly forget it. He has since appeared on stage in Toronto with the Backstreet Boys singing “I Want It That Way,” hosted his October World Weekend Festival, reunited with DJ Khaled and Lil Baby, and hooked up with YouTuber Anthony Fantano argued.
As for 21 Savage, his last real studio album was 2018’s I Am > I Was. He’s also been busy with features in 2022 by also teaming up with JID, Latto and Pharrell.
