The 10th anniversary of Flume, the Australian artist’s debut album, is in two days. Coincidentally, or maybe not, Flume dug up an old laptop from that era and promised to go live on TikTok and browse through many of the old project files. Unfortunately, the stream was due in Australian Eastern Daylight Time, meaning it started at 5am ET and 2am PT on Sunday when many in the US were sleeping.
Thankfully, Flume’s Brownies & Lemonade recaps some of the stream’s key takeaways, including that his “Tennis Court” remix would soon be available on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. Since the remix was released in 2014, it has only been available on YouTube and SoundCloud.
Also, an unreleased track “Slugger” is coming soon, along with an appearance on triplej’s “Like A Version”. He’s also apparently interested in making another mixtape since Hi This is Flume has been so successful.
For folks who missed last night’s Flume livestream, here are the highlights:
-Tennis Court Remix will be available on streaming platforms soon
– The unreleased track “Slugger” is coming soon
– interested in making another mixtape
-triple j like a forthcoming version
-mentos and ice bucket challenges
