Hellfest Open Air has announced its lineup for 2023, and it’s yet again a mammoth list of the biggest metal and hard rock bands on the planet. Iron Maiden, Pantera, Slipknot, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and more than 170 other acts have signed up for the four-day extravaganza, taking place June 15-18 in Clisson, France.
Last year, Hellfest held an unprecedented seven-day festival to make up for time lost to the pandemic. In 2023, the French festival returns to a four-day event, but the line-up is still pretty impressive.
The above acts are joined by Hollywood Vampires (the supergroup featuring Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp), Tenacious D, Rancid, Porcupine Tree, Sum 41, Behemoth, Fishbone, Coheed and Cambria, Amon Amarth, Puscifer, Machine Gun Kelly , Meshuggah, Melvins, Halestorm, Black Flag and many more.
While the lineup was only announced today (December 15), the four-day passes for Hellfest 2023 in October sold out immediately after going on sale. The sale of day tickets will start in early 2023.
