Kali Uchis has a new album soon, her first record since 2020’s Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞. Her next LP is titled Red Moon in Venus and will be out on March 3 via Geffen. She will tour North America later this year in support of Red Moon in Venus, with Raye opening most of the concerts. Check out the project cover and tour schedule below.
Since Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞, the singer has collaborated on several tracks with other artists including Ozuna, Omar Apollo and Amaarae. Last year she put her own spin on the bossa nova standard “Desafinado” for the Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack and released a new single entitled “No Hay Ley”. “I Wish You Roses,” a new song shared earlier this month, will be released on Red Moon in Venus. She explained the album’s title in a statement:
Love is the message. Red Moon in Venus is a timeless, fiery expression of desire, heartbreak, faith and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the Moon and Venus. The Moon and Venus work together to keep key aspects of love and home life working well. This work represents all levels of love – letting go of people with love, drawing love into your life and loving yourself. Many astrologers believe that the Blood Moon can send your emotions spinning, and I think that best represents this work.
