The Most Anticipated Sci-Fi & Fantasy Books of 2023, According to Goodreads

In addition to a list of the most anticipated horror releases of 2023, Goodreads has also published a most anticipated list for science fiction and fantasy. They note that 2023 will be a great year for speculative reading, with a mix of very lively book releases and those by well-known authors such as Salmon Rushdie, Chloe Gong, Brandon Sanderson, Leigh Bardugo and Martha Wells.

Goodreads compiled the list by looking at a few things – books that were put on the shelf as “want to read” by Goodreads members, the author community and Buzz. Fantasy has also been separated from science fiction, but of course there is some overlap.
