If you’re a fan of Middle-earth, here’s your chance to spend the night in the famous Hobbiton. AirBNB is offering three people a chance to win an overnight stay in The Shire, New Zealand, in March 2023. Although the site has always been open to visitors, this experience is new in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first Hobbit film.
Tickets for the two-night stay at the two-bedroom house go on sale on December 14th at 10am NZ time (that’s December 13th 5pm EST). Each entry costs $6.
The Shire decor was put together by Brian Massey, designer behind Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. If you’re one of the lucky winners, you can spend those nights in a lovely book corner and walk to the Green Dragon Inn, which serves Southfarthing beer and cider.
